Commercial fencing – options and benefits

If your commercial fencing is in need of restoration or replacement, it is worth considering your options, before you just right in and simply replace like for like.

City Fencing is number one for commercial fencing in Liverpool and, as such, we’d like to take a moment to discuss the merits of various types of security fencing, to help build a picture of which metal fence can and should be used for which eventuality.

Do you need a metal fence?

If your business premises has always been surrounded by wooden fencing, do you even need to replace it with a metal fence? Are there any benefits to doing so?

These are questions worth considering.

The main thing to take into account when asking yourself these questions is that metal fencing is security fencing. It provides a lot more protection than a wooden alternative.

Even if your wooden fence has never caused you to have a security issue before, it could be worth adding the extra protection when it comes time to replace it.

Doing so even has the potential to positively impact your insurance premium.

Also, metal commercial fencing is far more durable than the wooden alternative. If you are finding yourself in need of a replacement fence, keep in mind that had that fence been made of metal and installed by experts, you probably wouldn’t be. A metal fence provides long lasting protection, so can represent a good investment.

Types of commercial fencing

We supply two styles of metal commercial fencing. Whether you feel it necessary or not from a security perspective to install a metal fence, it’s also worth considering that, even from an aesthetic perspective, security fencing can add something to your premises.

Paladin fencing – our first of two commercial fencing options, is secure, anti-climb, available in a range of colours and, unlike wooden fencing, allows people to see through it due to the thin bars, which can be a benefit in some instances.

Steel palisade fencing – option two, is even more high security and generally used where safety and protection of property are paramount concerns. Available in a range of heights and colours, it is also versatile and customisable.
